    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan hasil belajar kognitif antara siswa yang diajar dengan metode talking stick dengan metode question student have pada mata pelajaran IPA. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Pre eksperimental tipe The Static Group Pretest Posttest Design yang dilaksanakan selama 3 pertemuan. Sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII-1 dan siswa kelas VII-3 MTs An-Nur Al Muntahy dengan menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik analisa data dengan menggunakan uji t bebas dengan bantuan SPSS 20.0. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh: (1) terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar siswa yang menggunakan metode question student have dan metode talking stick dengan hasil uji t thitung = 2,864 dan ttabel= 2,00172 sehingga nilai -thitung < ttabel < thitung (-2,864 < 2,00172 < 2,864) dengan nilai signifikansi diperoleh 0,006 < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. (2) proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan metode talking stick memperoleh persentase 93,5% dan keterlaksanaan metode question student have memperoleh persentase 93,9% terlaksana dengan baik. (3) respon siswa yang menggunakan metode talking stick memperoleh persentase 94,3% dan respon siswa menggunakan metode question student have memperoleh persentase 90,1% dengan kriteria sangat baik Kata Kunci: hasil belajar, metode pembelajaran, talking stick, question student have

    Abstraction

    This research aims tis knowing differences in cognitive student achievement between students who were taught by the method of talking stick and question student have method on science. This design research is pre experimental design (static group pretest posttest design) conducted during three meeting. The sample of this research were students of class VII-1 and students of grade VII-3 MTs An-Nur Al Muntahy by using purposive sampling technique. The data analyzed technique using independent t test whit the help of SPSS 20.0. Based on the result of the research obtained: (1) there are differences in student achievement that use the method of question student have and the talking stick method with t test tcount = 2.864 and ttable = 2,00172 so that the value -tcount < ttable < tcount ( -2,864 <2,00172 < 2,864) with significance value obtained 0.006 < 0 , 05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 accepted. (2) the learning process using the talking stick method obtained 93.5% percentage and questionnaire method implementation have obtained 93.9% percentage well done. (3) the response of students who used the talking stick method obtained the 2 percentage of 94.3% and students' responses using the question student have method obtained 90.1% percentage with very good criteria.
