    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan model Creative Problem Solving untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Metode penelitian dalam penelitian ini menggunakan quasi eksperimental design dengan nonequivalent control group design. Dilaksanakan di SMPN 1 Kamal dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII pada pokok bahasan Getaran dan Gelombang. Sampel yang digunakan adalah 2 kelas yaitu kelas VIII G dan VIII H. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t independent (bebas). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa; (1) keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan model Creative Problem Solving berkategori sangat baik dengan nilai 99%, (2) adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa, yang dibuktikan nilai uji t sampel bebas nilai signifikansi 0,00 < 0,05 maka H0 ditolak. Sedangkan thitung < ttabel yaitu -3,787 < 1,668 maka H1 diterima, dan kemampuan berpikir kritis siswa tinggi dengan rata-rata ketuntasan indikator posttest kelas eksperimen 78%, dan (3) respon siswa terhadap model pembelajaran Creative Problem Solving sangat kuat dengan rata-rata respon siswa 91,7%.

    Abstraction

    This research aims to know the application of Creative Problem Solving model for training the critical thinking skills of students. Research methods in this research using a quasi experimental design with nonequivalent control group design. Held at SMPN 1 Kamal with a population of whole grade VIII on the subject of vibrations and waves. The sample used is 2 classes, namely class VIII G and VIII H. data analysis techniques using independent t sample test (free). Based on the research results it can be concluded that; (1) realization learning by applying Creative Problem Solving model is categorized very well with the value 99%, (2) presence of the influence of Creative Problem Solving learning model for training the critical thinking skills of students, which proved the value of the test t sample significance value 0.00 free < 0.05 then H0 is rejected. Whereas tcalculate < ttable is -3.787 < 1.668 then H1 is accepted, and the critical thinking ability of students with average indicators ketuntasan posttest experimental class 78%, and (3) the response of students towards Creative Problem Solving learning model is extremely powerful with an average 91,7% student response.
