Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran PBI (Problem Based Instruction) dengan pendekatan Etnosains untuk melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh data sebagai berikut: 1) hasil nilai uji hipotesis sebesar -3,960 untuk Zhitung dan Ztabel sebesar -0,563 yang menunjukkan Ztabel> Zhitungyang berarti H0 ditolak dan H1diterima, sehingga dapat diartikan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran PBI (Problem Based Instruction) dengan pendekatan Etnosains terhadap keterampilanberpikirkritissiswa, 2) hasilnilai rata-rata keterlaksanaanpembelajaransebesar81,5% yang tergolongsangatbaik, 3) hasilnilai rata-rata responsiswasebesar79,4% yangtergolongbaik, 4) hambatanpembelajarantergolongbaikdanlancar. Kata kunci: berpikirkritis, PBI (Problem Based Instruction), pendekatan Etnosains.
AbstractionThis study aims to reveal the influence of PBI learning model (Problem Based Instruction) with Etnosains approach to examine students’ critical thinking skills. Based on the results of this study, the writer concludes that: 1) the result of hypothesis test of -3.960 to Zcalculate and the Ztable amounts -0.563 points out Ztable> Zcalculatewhich means H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. Its indicates that there is influence of PBI learning model (Problem Based Instruction) with Etnosains approach on students' critical thinking skills, 2) the average result oflearning implimentation is 81.5% which is in excellent predicate, 3) theaverage result of students’response is 79.4% whichisin good predicate, 4) there is no barrier during learning activity.
