Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui sejauh mana keberhasilan Implementasi Metode Demontrasi Individual Visual ( DIV) terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA pada siswa tuhagrahita. Teknik analisis data pada penelitian ini menggunakan uji prasyarat. Hasil pada penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Hasil penelitian diperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel (9,584 > 2,262) maka H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima karena thitung lebih besar dari pada ttabel. Jadi dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh dari metode DIV terhadap pemahaman konsep IPA siswa. (2) Hasil respon siswa terhadap metode DIV ini adalah 80,5% yang tergolong kriteria sangat menarik. (3) Berdasarkan rekapitulasi hasil keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh rata-rata nilai sebesar 100% dengan kriteria sangat baik. (4) Pemahaman konsep IPA pada kelas VIII mencapai Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum karena dipengaruhi oleh metode DIV dimana pembelajaran menggunakan alat bantu sederhana yang sesuai dengan materi yang akan disampaikan, sehingga siswa berkebutuhan khusus dapat lebih memahami materi yang diajarkan terutama memahami konsep IPA. Abstract The purpose of this research was to know the extent of success Implementation Demonstration Individual Visual Method (DIV) towards natural sciences concept understanding for mentally disabled student. Data analysis technique for this research using precondition test. The results of this research show that: (1) Result of the research is value tcount>ttable (9,584 > 2,262) so H0 rejected and H1 accepted because tcount higher than ttable. So we can make a decision if there is an influence of DIV method towards student natural sciences concept understanding (2) Student responses about DIV method is about 80,5% which classified as very interesting criteria (3) Based on recapitulation result of the learning complexity gained an averages rating amount 100% with very good criteria (4) Understanding of the natural sciences concept in class VIII reach the minimun of completeness criteria because of DIV method which the learning use simple help tools or appropriate with the material to be deliver, so the special needs student can be more understanding about the material taught specially to understand natural sciences concept Keywords: Mentally disabled student, Demonstration Individual Visual (DIV) Method, Natural science learnin
