Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan teknik mnemonic terhadap hasil belajar IPA yang dilakukan pada kelas VII SMP 1 Negeri Arosbaya.Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif yaitu Quasy Experimental Design dengan desain non-equivalent control group design.Subjek penelitian adalah kelas VII F sebagai kelas eksperimen dan VII G sebagai kelas kontrol.Teknik analisis data menggunakan software SPSS versi 20. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: Keterlaksanaan pembelajaran saat menggunakan teknik mnemonic diperoleh 89,21% pembelajaran terlaksana dengan kriteria sangat baik. Hasil belajar siswa saat menggunakan teknik mnemonicdiketahui pada kelas eksperimen 29 siswa tuntas dan 4 siswa tidak tuntas. Berdasarkan uji hipotesis yang dilakukan diperoleh nilai probabilitas (sig) sebesar 0,000. Hal ini berarti nilai signifikansi kurang dari 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima.

The aim of this research is to determine how the application of Mnemonic techniques on learning outcomes IPA which was conducted in the seventh grade class of junior High School 1 Arosbaya. This research is quantitative research which is quasy Experimental Design with the design of non-equivalent control group design. The research subjects were VII F class as the experimental class and VII G as the control class. The data of this research were analyzed by using SPSS software 20 version. The results showed that: Learning implementation when using Mnemonic techniques acquired 89.21% of learning accomplished with avery well criteria. From the learning outcomes of student that used Mnemonic techniques, It was found that in the experimental class, 29 students are passed and 4 students are not. Based on the hypothesis test, we get the value of probability (sig) of 0.000. It means that the significance value less than 0.05, so that H0 is rejected and H1 accepted.
