Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model Guided Discovery Learning pada pembelajaran IPA terhadap hasil belajar siswa, respon siswa, dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Jenis penelitian adalah jenis eksperimen dengan desain penelitian Quasi eksperimental dengan Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Waktu penelitian dilaksanakan pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2017/2018. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kamal. Teknik sampling menggunakan purposivesampling. Sampel penelitian sebanyak dua kelas yaitu kelas VIII-D sebagai eksperimen dan kelas VIII-E sebagai kelas kontrol. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan metode tes, angket, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji t sampel bebas dengan bantuan SPSS 16. Hasil pada penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) terdapat pengaruh dari model Guided Discovery Learning pada pembelajaran IPA terhadap hasil belajar siswa dengan hasil uji t diperoleh nilai thitung 10,941 sedangkan nilai ttabel 1,994 diperoleh 1,994 sehingga nilai –thitung< ttabel< thitung (-10,491 < 1,994 <10,491) dengan nilai signifikansi diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05 sehingga H0 ditolak dan H1 diterima. (2) hasil belajar kelas eksperimen mencapai kriteria Ketuntasan Minimum yaitu 83,19 (3) respon siswa menunjukkan bahwa menggunakan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning mendapatkan hasil sebesar 87% dengan kriteria sangat setuju. (4) proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Guided Discovery Learning terlaksana dengan baik dan mendapatkan persentase 99%. The research of aimed to know the effect of Guided Discovery Learning model on students' science ,learning outcomes, student responses, and learning implementation. The type of research was experiment with an experimental Quasi research design. The time of study was conducted on the even semester of the academic year 2017/2018. The population of the research were the students of class VIII SMP Negeri 1 Kamal. Samples were taken by purposive sampling technique. The sample of research were two classes that was class VIII-D as experiment and class VIII-E as control class. The research design used nonequivalent control group. Data collection techniques in research using test methods, questionnaires, observation, and documentation. The data analysis technique used dependent sample t test with SPSS 16.0. The result of the research shows that: (1) there was influence from Guided Discovery Learning instruction model to student learning result with t test result obtained tcount 10,941 while ttable value obtained 1,994 so that value is -tcount< ttable< tcount (-10,941 <1,994 < 10,941) with The significance value is 0.000 <0.05 so that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. (2) the learning result of the experimental class reach the Minimum Criterion that is 81,19. (3) student responses show that using Guided Discovery Learning model get 87% result with criteria very agree. (4) the process learning used Guided Discovery Learning model was done well and get 99% percentage. Keywords: Guided Discovery Learning, Learning Outcomes, Learning Science.
