Proses penerimaan peserta didik baru di SMA Darul Kholil dilakukan secara manual ditulis menggunakan buku, sehingga mengakibatkan lambatnya proses penerimaan peserta didik baru. Dampak dari proses penerimaan peserta didik baru yang manual menyebabkan pendataan calon peserta, ujian seleksi, hasil seleksi dan pengumuman menjadi lambat dan tidak efektif. Ketika pihak sekolah membutuhkan laporan, mereka harus mencari di arsip terleih dulu. Pencarian laporan tersebut akan mengakibatkan keterlambatan dalam proses pengumumuman hasil seleksi penerimaan peserta didik baru. Sehingga proses pelaporan tersebut tidak bisa dilakukan secara cepat, efektif, dan efesien. Tujuan dari penelitian adalah untuk memudahkan peserta didik melaksanakan proses pendaftaran, sedangakan untuk pihak sekolah tidak kesulitan dalam mendata, menyeleksi dan memberikan pengumuman tentang PPDB. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan. Model penelitian yang digunakan adalah waterfall. Tahapan dari model waterfall adalah (1) analisis dan definisi kebutuhan pengguna (2) perancangan sistem dan perangkat lunak produk (3) implementasi dan pengujian unit prodak (4) pengujian sistem produk (5) operasi dan pemeliharaan produk. Hasil penelitian produk ini (1) produk sistem informasi penerimaan peserta didik baru berbasis web dan mobile layak digunaka di SMA Darul Kholil. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji coba ahli perancangan sistem informasi dengan persentase 100%, ahli desain 100% dan uji pengguna sebesar 85%. (2) Sistem informasi ini mampu dijalankan diberbagai aplikasi browser yang berbasis dekstop maupun mobile secara online dan realtime. Sistem ini mampu (1) menginputkan data pendaftar (2) mencari data pendatar (3) menampilkan data pendaftar (4) mencetak form pendaftar (5) mematikan dan menghidupkan layanan pendaftar melalui menu admin.

The process of acceptance of new students in Darul Kholil Senior high school is done manually by written in a book. The impact of the acceptance of new students process done manually, lead the data collection for the participants, selection test, selection result, and the announcement being slow and not effective. When the commite need a report, searching report on the archieve takes a much time. Searching a report of selection phases take a longer time. It makes students’parents feeling curious about the announcement of new students’ acceptance. So the process of reporting cannot be done quickly, effectively, and efficiently. According to that problem, the researcher develops web and mobile-based informational system. The purpose of the study is to allow the participants to carry out the process of data collection and the school had no difficulties in selecting and announcing the selection result. This study is a development research.This research used waterfall model. Here is phases of waterfall model: 1) The analysis and definition of the needs of the user. 2) The Design of the system and software product. 3) The implementation and the product units testing. 4) Testing the product system. 5) The operation and maintenance products. This study concluded that: 1) The product information system of new student’s acceptance using web and mobile-based worth to be used in SMA Darul Kholil. This is proved by the results of trials by the expert of designing information system with the percentage 100%, expert design 100%, and test users 85%. 2) This information system is able to run in a variety of browser applications based on dekstop and mobile online and realtime, but this application cannot be used if there is no internet access.
