    Abstraksi

    Pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah menimbulkan beberapa kekurangan yang akan menghambat kelancaran keterlaksanaan pembelajaran. Diperlukan adanya inovasi baru dalam pembelajaran. Maka, dipilih model Problem Based Learning. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penerapan model Problem Based Learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada materi Pengantar Subnetting Jaringan di kelas X TKJ SMK Agung Mulia Sanggra’ Agung tahun 2016-2017. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif menggunakan metode Quasi Experimental Design. Bentuk desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas X TKJ SMK Agung Mulia yang berjumlah 59 siswa. Dari jumlah populasi tersebut dibagi menjadi dua kelas, yaitu kelas eksperimen yang berjumlah 29 siswa dan kelas kontrol dengan jumlah 30 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode observasi dan angket motivasi belajar siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap motivasi belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji t untuk motivasi belajar siswa diperoleh nilai thitung sebesar 3,371. Sedangkan nilai ttabel diperoleh dari rumus t (?/2,n-2) yang menunjukkan hasil 2,052. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa nilai thitung lebih besar dari nilai ttabel. Artinya, Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa, model Problem Based Learning mampu meningkatkan aktivitas dan motivasi siswa dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran.

    Abstraction

    Learning by lecture method creates several shortcomings that will hamper the smoothness of the implementation of learning. New innovations in learning are needed. Thus, the model of Problem Based Learning was chosen. This study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of Problem Based Learning model on student learning motivation on Introduction Subnetting Network material in class X TKJ SMK Agung Mulia Sanggra 'Agung in 2016-2017. This research is a quantitative research using Quasi Experimental Design method. The form of research design used is Nonequivalent Control Group Design. This research was conducted in class X TKJ SMK Agung Mulia which amounted to 59 students. Of the total population is divided in to two classes, namely the experimental class of 29 students and control class with the number of 30 students. Technique of data collecting is done by observation method and questionnaire of student learning motivation. The result of this research shows that there is influence of Problem Based Learning model to student learning motivation. Based on the results of t test calculations for student learning motivation obtained tcount of 3.371. While the ttable value is obtained from the formula t (? / 2, n-2) which shows the result of 2.052. From these results can be concluded that the value of tcount is greater than the value of ttable. That is, Ho is rejected and Ha accepted. It shows that, model of Problem Based Learning able to increase student activity and motivation In the implementation of learning.
