  • PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE TGT (TEAM GAMES TOURNAMENT) PADA MATERI PROTOKOL JARINGAN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR SISWA KELAS X RPL SMK NEGERI 1 KAMAL

    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa melalui penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) pada mata pelajaran jaringan dasar komputer di siswa kelas X RPL SMK Negeri 1 Kamal. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kuantitatif dan desain penelitian quasi eksperimental design dengan bentuk non equivalent control group design. Prosedur dalam penelitian ini ada 3 tahap yaitu (1) tahap persiapan, (2) tahap pelaksanaan, dan (3) tahap penyusunan hasil penelitian. Penelitian menemukan bahwa : hasil belajar bagi siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) lebih tinggi secara signifikan dibandingkan hasil belajar bagi siswa yang belajar dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional ceramah. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan thitung (3,34) lebih dari ttabel sebesar 2,0484, maka hal ini diartiakan bahwa Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima, terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) kelas X RPL di SMK Negeri 1 Kamal. Hasil analisis uji gain ternormalisasi memperoleh rata-rata 0,59 dengan kategori “Sedang”. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) dapat mempengaruhi hasil belajar siswa. Penelitian menyarankan : (1) Bagi guru, model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) sebaiknya dilakukan secara rutin dan berkelanjutan, karena model pembelajaran ini efisien meningkatkan minat siswa dan hasil belajar siswa dalam materi protokol jaringan. (2) Bagi peneliti, diharapkan dalam penelitian selanjutnya mengkolaborasikan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe TGT (Team Games Tournament) dengan model pembelajaran yang lain seperti CTL (Contextual Teaching Learing).

This study aims to improve student learning outcomes through the application of cooperative learning model type TGT (Team Games Tournament) on the subjects of basic computer networks in the students of class X RPL SMK Negeri 1 Kamal. This research uses quantitative research type and quasi experimental design design with non equivalent control group design. The procedure in this research there are 3 stages namely (1) preparation stage, (2) implementation stage, and (3) stage of preparation of research result. The study found that: learning outcomes for students learning using cooperative learning model TGT type (Team Games Tournament) were significantly higher than learning outcomes for students who were learning using conventional learning model lectures. This is evidenced by t count (3.34) more than ttable of 2.0484, then it is understood that Ho is rejected and Ha accepted, there is significant influence of cooperative learning model type TGT (Team Games Tournament) class X RPL in SMK Negeri 1 Kamal. The normalized gain test results obtained an average of 0.59 with the "Medium" category. So it can be concluded that by using cooperative learning model type TGT (Team Games Tournament) can influence student learning outcomes. Research suggests: (1) For teachers, cooperative learning model type TGT (Team Games Tournament) should be done routinely and continuously, because this learning model efficiently increase student interest and student learning outcomes in network protocol material. (2) Teachers should use cooperative learning model type TGT (Team Games Tournament) on other subjects so that will make students more understand on the material delivered. (3) For the researcher, it is expected in the next research to collaborate cooperative learning type TGT (Team Games Tournament) with other learning model such as CTL (Contextual Teaching Learing). (4) For the school, it is expected to give the teacher the opportunity to convey the creative learning model according to the character of the material presented
