    Abstraksi

    Penelitian bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas pembelajaran IPA pada model siklus belajar (learning cycle) terhadap dan hasil belajar siswa. Model siklus belajar (learning cycle) terdiri-dari 5 langkah utama yaitu : engagement, exploration, explanation, extenton dan evaluation. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V Sd Negeri Kamal 1 dengan jumlah siswa sebanyak 42 . Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kuantitatif dengan metode penelitian True-Experimental Design dengan desain Pretest-Postest Control Group Design. Sampel yang digunakan adalah sampel jenuh. Instrumen utama yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah tes hasil belajar, angket sikap ilmiah dan lembar observasi Berdasarkan hasil penelitian meliputi : 1) tes hasil belajar ketuntasan secara klasikal sebesar 90,47% 2) Lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran memperoleh ratarata sebesar 89,73 tergolong sangat baik. 3) Sikap ilmiah siswa dengan alat ukur lembar angket sebesar 60,95 tergolong sangat baik dan lembar observasi sebesar 78,25 tergolong sangat baik 4)Angket respon siswa memperoleh persentase sebesar 90,2 % dan tergolong sangat baik. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa model siklus learning efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPA kelas V SD Negeri Kamal 1.     Abstraction

    This research was aimed to recognize the effectiveness of sciences learning on learning cycle model and student’s study result. Learning cycle model consisted of five main steps: engagement, exploration, explanation, extenton, and evaluation. The population in this research was fifth grade students at the Elementary school of Kamal 1 with the amount of 42 students. This research was quantitative research by using True-Experimental Design research method by Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design. This research used census sampling. This research used the test of scientific attitude, student’s study result and observation as the main instrument. Based on the result of the research: 1) Test classically completeness of study result was 90.47% 2) Learning enforceability sheet obtained the average of 89.73% which included very good 3) Student’s scientific attitude by using questionnaire sheet measuring instrument was 60which included good and observation sheet was 78.25% which included very good 4) Questionnaire of student’s response obtained the percentage of 90.2% and included very good. It can be concluded that learning cycle model was effective toward study result of 5 th Grade Students at the Elementary School of Kamal. Key words: Effectiveness, Study result, Learning Cycle Model
