Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan desain Quasi Eksperimental, penelitian ini dilaksanakan di kelas V SDN Kamal 2 yang berjumlah 48 siswa. Sampel diambil dengan menggunakan Teknik Solvin karena 2 kelas mempunyai sampel yang sama yaitu 24. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui Efektivitas Model Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) Terhadap Keterampilan Siswa Dalam Menulis Puisi Bebas Kelas V SDN Kamal 2. Hasil penelitian menujukkan bahwa Model Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) efektif terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi bebas siswa berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji komparatif (uji-t ), maka diperoleh nilai t hitung sebesar 2,64 dan t tabel t(?/2, n-2) = 2,074. Dengan nilai t hitung diperoleh t hitung > t tabel , ini berarti H o ditolak dan H a diterima. Sehingga pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) efektif terhadap keterampilan menulis puisi bebas siswa kelas V Sdn Kamal 2. Uji Gain dilakukan untuk mengetahui besarnya peningkatan keterampilan menulis puisi bebas diperoleh 67% dengan peningkatan kemampuan menulis puisi bebas sebesar 0.65 dengan kategori sedang. Aktivitas siswa dalam proses pembelajaran dengan menggunakan Model Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) diperoleh sebesar 84.15% dalam kategori sangat baik. Kata kunci: Model Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) Terhadap Keterampilan Siswa Dalam Menulis Puisi Bebas.
AbstractionThis study is a quantitative study by using Quasi Experimental design; it is conducted in 5 th Grade of SDN Kamal 2 with 48 students. The sample is taken by using Solvin Technique because the 2 classes have same sample that is 24. This study has an objective to know The Effectiveness of Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) Model on Students Skill in Writing Free Poem of 5 th Grade of SDN Kamal 2. The results of the study show that Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) Model is effective on students skill in writing free poem based on the calculation results of comparative test (t-test), then it is obtained the value of t count is 2.64 and t table t(?/2, n-2) = 2,074. With the value of t count and t table, it is obtained t count > t table , it means that H o is rejected and H a is accepted. So, the learning by using Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) Model is effective on students skill in writing free poem of 5 th grade of SDN Kamal 2. Gain test is done to know the improvement of free poem writing skill which is obtained 67% with the improvement of free poem writing ability is 0.65 in medium category. Students’ activities in the learning process by using Cooperative Integrated Reading And Composition (Circ) Model obtain 84.15% in very good category.
