Pembimbing 1 Andika Adinanda, S.Pd.,M.Pd dan Pembimbing II Fachrur Rozie, S.Pd., M.Pd ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) Mengembangkan buku ajar IPA berbasis PBL(Problem Based Learning) yang layak ditinjau dari lembar validasi ahli, yang praktis ditinjau dari lembar keterlaksanaan pembelajaran dan yang efektif ditinjau dari respon siswa, (2) Mengembangkan konsep yang sesuai dengan Rencana Pelaksanaan Pembelajaran (RPP). Buku ajar IPA Berbasis PBL (Problem based learning) diharapkan dapat mempermudah siswa dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru terutama materi perkembangbiakan makhluk hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan model pengembangan 4D yang terdiri dari 4 tahapan yaitu: define, design, development dan dessiminate. Pengembangan Buku Ajar IPA Berbasis PBL (Problem Based Learning) telah divalidasi oleh 6 ahli yaitu : validasi ahli bahasa, validasi ahli materi, validasi desain pembelajaran, validasi desain media, validasi respon siswa dan keterlaksanaan RPP. Terdapat uji coba yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini yaitu : uji coba perorangan, uji coba kelompok kecil dan uji coba kelompok besar. Berdasarkan hasil validasi diperoleh presentase sebagai berikut : menurut ahli bahasa 82% (Valid), ahlimateri 88% (Sangat valid), ahli desain pembelajaran 82% (Valid), ahli desain media 84% (Sangat valid), respon siswa 80% (Valid), keterlaksanaan RPP 90% (Sangat valid). Validitas produk memperoleh presentase 84,66% (Sangat valid), Kepraktisan memperoleh presentase 93,99% ( sangat praktis), dan keefektifan memperoleh presentase 89,29% (praktis). Buku ajar IPA Berbasis PBL (Problem based learning) diukur dari angket respon siswa yang diperoleh pada uji coba perorangan 89,01% (Sangat menarik), uji coba kelompok kecil 87,75% (sangat menarik) dan uji coba kelompok besar 91,11% (Sangat menarik). ABSTRACT This research aimed to (1) develop the science textbooks which based on PBL (Problem-Based Learning) and very reasonable to be reviewed by expert of validation sheets, practical reviewed by learning worked sheets and effectively reviewed by student response, (2) develop a conceptual which was suitable with Learning Program Plan (RPP). We expected that the science textbook based on PBL (Problem-Based Learning) could facilitate the students about understanding the learning materials which was said by their teachers, especially about chapter living things propagation. This research on four-dimension development model had 4 steps, which were: define, design,, development and dessiminate. Development of science textbooks based on PBL (Problem-Based Learning) had been validated by 6 professionals, they were: professionals of language, materials, learning design, media design, student response and implemented RPP. There were trial testing in this research, which were: individual, small and large group trial testing. Based on the validation result, it was gained that language professionals was 82% (valid), material professionals was 88% (valid), learning design was 82% (valid), implemented RPP was 80% (valid). Product validation reached 84.66% (very valid), practical was 93.99% (very practical), and effectiveness was 82.89% (practical). Science textbook based on PBL (Problem-Based Learning) was measured through a questionnaire of students response, and it gained percentage of individual trial testing was amount of 89.01% (very interesting) and large group was 91.11% (very interesting).
