Peran guru merupakan salah satu kunci dalam menanamkan sikap peduli sosial dilingkungan sekolah maupun dilingkungan masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) mendeskripsikan suasana sikap peduli sosial pada siswa di SD Islam Terpadu Kamal, (2) mendeskripsikan peran guru dalam menanamkan sikap peduli sosial pada siswa di SD Islam Terpadu Kamal, (3) mendeskripsikan hambatan guru dalam menanamkan sikap peduli sosial pada siswa di SD Islam Terpadu Kamal. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif, subjek penelitian adalah guru kelas I-II, kepala sekolah, dan siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan analisis intensif. Warga SD Islam Terpadu Kamal berasal dari latar belakang keluarga yang berbeda, namun mereka tetap menjunjung tinggi sikap kepedulian sosial, hal tersebut diketahui dari cara mereka menghargai perbedaan latar belakang keluarga. Peran guru sangat menentukan sikap kepedulian sosial siswa di SD Islam Terpadu Kamal. Pengetahuan, sikap dan kesadaran siswa tentang sikap peduli sosial meningkat. Jalur penanaman sikap peduli sosial yang dilakukan guru melalui pembelajaran, melalui penumbuhan karakter dan pembiasaan baik di dalam kelas maupun di lingkungan sekolah. Secara keseluruhan tidak ditemukan hambatan yang berarti. Hambatan lebih banyak dari sarana yang masih kurang memadai dalam menanamkan sikap peduli sosial
AbstractionThe role of teachers is one of the key in inculcating students’ social care attitude in school and society environment. The purpose of this research are: (1) to describe the atmosphere of social care attitude in students of SD Islam Terpadu Kamal, (2) to describe the role of teachers in inculcating social care attitude in students of SD Islam Terpadu Kamal, (3) to describe the teacher obstacles in inculcating social care attitude in students of SD Islam Terpadu Kamal. The type of research used was qualitative descriptive. The subjects of the research were I-II class, headmaster, and students. Techniques of collecting data used were interview, observation, and documentation. Data analysis used intensive analysis. The students of SD Islam Terpadu Kamal come from different family backgrounds but they still uphold the attitude of social concern. It is known from the way they appreciate the differences of family background. The role of teachers is very decisive in social awareness of students attitude in SD Islam Terpadu Kamal to make students' knowledge, attitude and awareness about social attitudes increase. The method in inculcating social care conducted by teachers through learning, character building and habit in the classroom and in the school environment. There is no significant obstacles were found. The most obstacles found in facilities that are still inadequate in inculcating students’ social care attitude.
