    Abstraksi

    Film ini secara khusus meneliti tentang representasi kepemimpinan politik Sukarno dalam film Sukarno. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kualitatif untuk mendapatkan gambaran yang rinci dan hasil yang lebih mendalam berkaitan dengan penelitian ini. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis tekstual dengan menggunakan metode semiotika John Fiske untuk memperoleh makna yang terdapat dalam teks. Objek penelitian ini adalah adegan Ir. Sukarno yang diperankan Ario Bayu pada film Soekarno. Unit analisis yang diteliti meliputi level pertama, (realitas) appearreance (penampilan), dress (kostum), make-up (riasan), environment (lingkungan), behavior (perilaku), speech (dialog), gesture (gerakan), [removed]ekspresi), sound (suara). Level kedua, kamera (camera), pencahayaan (lightning), perevisian (editing), music (music), dan suara (sound), dan level ketiga individualisme (individualism), patriarki (patriarchy), ras (race), kelas (class), materialisme (materialism), kapitalisme (capitalism). Data yang digunakan berupa mendokumentasikan film Sukarno. Dari film ini kemudian dapat dilihat kode realitas lebih dititik beratkan pada penampilan fisik atau kostum yang digunakan antara lain kostum yang selalu digunakan oleh Sukarno. Kode representasi yang menunjukkan kepemimpinan politik muncul pada dialog-dialog yang terjadi antara Sukarno dengan semua kalangan. Kode ideologi yakni ideologi nasionalisme nampak hampir pada semua scene. Sebab semua scene membahas tentang bagaimana cara Indonesia meraih kemerdekaan. Kemudian representasi kepemimpinan politik seorang Sukarno ditunjukkan pada setiap sekuen. Katakunci : film, representasi politik, semiotika
