This study entitled “A Study of Reduplication Processes in Madurese Songs” discussed the processes of reduplication and Al – Abror’s songs as the source the data. For the analyzing the writer uses Davies’s Theory (2010). The reason why the writer used Al – Abror’s songs to analyze because there are some of songs consisting of words which contain reduplication processes. The aim of this study is to find out the types and function of reduplication process proposed by Davies (2010). The writer used descriptive qualitative method in this study. The writer shows the types of reduplication processes; they are final – syllable reduplication (22 data), reduplication with other affixes (8 data). It also indicates the functions of reduplication processes; they are multiple actions (3 data), imperfect aspect (10 data), reduplication of emphasis (1 data), reduplication of adjective (5 data), temporal expressions (2 data), additional functions (1 data), reduplication of adverb (5 data), reduplication of number (1 data), and compound (2 data). Key words: Reduplication process. Types of reduplication, function of reduplication
