This study aims to explain the models of discourse structures which are found in Donald Trump’s speech. It also aims to explain the function of discourse structures found in Donald Trump’s speech. This study used theories proposed by Van Djik and Kintsch (1983) and Coulthard (1985) to analyze the models and function of discourse structures. Moreover, this study was conducted by applying a descriptive qualitative research design since the data are in the form of words. The source of data was the video speech of Donald Trump at conservative political action conference (CPAC) 2017. The data of this study were the utterances of Donald Trump which contain discourse structures. The data were collected by using content analysis method. The writer found 50 data belonging to the model of discourse structures. Out of the 50 data, 4 data were classified as the thematic structures, 7 data were classified as the headline, 22 data were classified as the style, 13 data were classified as the rhetorical figures, and 4 data were classified as the semantics strategy. The writer also found 50 data belonging to the function of discourse structures. Out of 50 data, 41 data were classified declarative, 4 data were classified imperative, 5 data were classified interrogative and no found data belonging to moodless.
