    Abstraksi

    Alat sortir adalah alat yang memiliki kegunaan untuk memilah atau membedakan benda sesuai dengan bentuk, warna, ataupun ukuran dari benda tersebut. Alat sortir memang bukan ide baru di dunia teknologi industri pada saat ini, namun ketika metode penyortiran ini dalam konteks teknologi perikanan dapat berguna untuk melakukan proses pemilahan ikan sesuai dengan variabel yang telah ditentukan. Dalam kesempatan ini dibuat rancang bangun prototipe alat penyortir ikan otomatis dengan kamera dan arduino. Kamera yang dipakai dalam tugas akhir ini adalah kamera jenis Webcam PC yang bekerja dengan cara membaca warna dari objek setelah menentukan pengambilan sample sebelumnya. Hasil pengambilan gambar diproses dengan memberi garis tepi pada objek sehingga bisa diketahui berapa jarak atau luas objek tersebut dengan menggunakan perhitungan pixel pada kode program. Secara keseluruhan sistem kerja alat ini adalah melakukan proses pengambilan gambar oleh kamera yang menggunakan metode pengolahan citra (Image Processing). Ikan yang telah diperoleh nilai luas pixelnya maka akan langsung di proses oleh konveyor dan servo untuk diarahkan menuju tempat penampungan sesuai kategorinya.     Abstraction

    Sorting tools are tools that have utility to sort or distinguish objects according to shape, color, or size of the object. Sorting tool is not a new idea in the world of technology industry at the moment, but when this sorting method in the context of fisheries technology can be useful to make the process of sorting the fish according to the variables that have been determined. On this occasion created design prototypes fish sorter tool automatically by the camera and arduino. The camera used in this thesis is the type Webcam PC camera that works by reading the color of the object after determining the previous sampling. A captured image is processed by giving the outline of the object so they can know how much distance or area of the object using pixel calculation in program code. The overall system of the device works is the process of shooting by a camera that uses image processing method (Image Processing). Fish that has been widely pixel values obtained it will be directly in the process by a conveyor and servo to be directed toward the shelter fit the category.
