ABSTRAK Mesin penjual otomatis merupakan sebuah mesin yang mampu melayani pembeli secara otomatis. Pelayanan tersebut mulai dari pembayaran menggunakan uang pas sampai barang yang dijual siap disajikan. Jamu yang terdapat dalam mesin ini masih berupa serbuk. Serbuk jamu tersebut antara lain jamu temulawak, kunyit putih, sirsak dan manggis. Proses peracikan jamu dimulai dari penuangan serbuk jamu ke dalam cup, pengisian air panas dan pengadukan jamu. Karena kebanyakan penjual jamu masih melakukan proses pembuatan jamu secara tradisional atau manual, maka dibuatlah mesin ini untuk memodernisasi penjualan jamu agar ketiga proses tersebut dapat dikerjakan secara otomatis sehingga lebih efisien. Mikrokontroler yang digunakan pada mesin ini adalah arduino mega 2560. Mesin ini dilengkapi dengan keypad untuk memilih menu jamu dan LCD untuk memberikan informasi. Mesin ini juga bisa digunakan untuk mengecek suhu air, sehingga jika suhu air belum mencapai suhu yang ditentukan maka mesin tidak dapat digunakan untuk proses pembuatan jamu. Hasil uji coba pada proses penuangan serbuk jamu ke dalam cup dengan berat serbuk yang telah ditentukan, memiliki tingkat keberhasilan yang berbeda. Tingkat keberhasilan proses penuangan serbuk jamu temulawak sebesar 90%, kunyit putih 100%, sirsak 60%, sedangkan manggis 0%. Hal itu disebabkan oleh tekstur dari masing-masing serbuk jamu yang berbeda. Kata kunci : Mesin Penjual Otomatis, Sistem Peracik Jamu, Arduino Mega 2560, Keypad, LCD.

ABSTRACT The vending machine is a machine that is able to serve customers automatically. The start of the payment services using the exact change until the goods are sold ready to be served. The herbs contained in this machine is still in the form of powder. The herbal powders among other herbs ginger, turmeric and white, soursop and mangosteen. Herbal compounding process begins of herbal powders pouring into the cup, filling hot water and stirring herbs. Since most herbalist still perform traditional herbal medicine manufacturing process or manually, hence made this machine to modernize sales of herbal medicine that these three processes can be done automatically, so more efficient. The microcontroller used in this machine is arduino mega 2560. The machine is equipped with a keypad for selecting herbs and LCD menu to provide information. This machine can also be used to check the temperature of the water, so that when the water temperature has not reached the specified temperature machine can not be used for the manufacture of herbal medicine. The results of trials on herbal powder casting process into the cup dustwith a predetermined weight, have different levels of success. The success rate of ginger herbal powder casting process by 90%, 100% white turmeric, soursop 60%, while mangosteen 0%. This was caused by the texture of each of the different herbal powders.
