    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis dan kepadatan ikan karang famili Chaetodontidae di perairan Pulau Gili Rajeh Kabupaten Sumenep. Pengamatan data ikan karang dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode transek sabuk imaginer (Imaginer Belt Transect) dan UVC (Underwater Visual Census) kamera bawah air. Pengamatan ini dilakukan dengan berenang perlahan di sepanjang garis transek 50 meter dan mengambil gambar ikan yang ditemui dengan jarak pandang sejauh 2,5 meter kekanan dan 2,5 meter kekiri serta ke atas ± 5 m. Pengamatan persen penutupan terumbu karang dilakuan dengan metode transek garis (Line Intecept Transect) dengan panjang pengamata 50 meter yang dilakukan mencatat persen tutupan karang tepat pada garis transeknya. Analisa data meliputi nilai kelimpahan dan nilai persentase penutupan terumbu karang. Hasil penelitian yaitu : identifikasi ikan karang famili Chaetodontidae di desa Lombang stasiun 1 pada kedalaman 3 m dan 10 meter dijumpai jumlah individu sebanyak 32 ekor dan 16 ekor, sedangkan pada stasiun 2 di desa Jateh pada kedalaman 3 meter dan 10 meter dijumpai jumlah individu ikan sebanyak 59 ekor dan 14 ekor. Hasil persentase penutupan terumbu karang pada desa Lombang kedalaman 3 m dan 10 m adalah Karang hidup 51,08% dan 49,92%, Karang mati 7,7% dan 5,42%, Fauna lain 4,64% dan 11,1%, serta Abiotik 30,12% dan 40,02%, sedangkan desa Jateh Karang hidup 62,74% dan 43,34%, Karang mati 6,92% dan 22,84%, Fauna lain 8,18% dan 5,54%, serta Abiotik 22,16% dan 28,28%. Nilai kepadatan ikan famili Chaetodontidae di desa Lombang 0,0426 Ind/m³ dan 0,0064 Ind/m³, sedangkan di desa Jateh 0,0786 Ind/m³ dan 0,0056 Ind/m³.

    Abstraction

    This research aims to know the type and density of reef fish in the family Chaetodontidae in Sumenep Regency Gili Rajeh island. Observation on reef fish data is performed using the method transek belt imaginary (Imaginary Belt Transect) and UVC (Underwater Visual Census) underwater camera. This observation is done by swimming slowly along the lines of transek 50 meters and take pictures of fish that were found with the visibility as far as 2.5 metres right and to 2.5 metres left and up ± 5 m. Observations percent closing champion reefs with the method transek the line (Line Transect Intecept) with a length of 50 meters length of service which recorded percent coral cover on transect line. Date analysis includes the value of the closing percentage value and abundance of coral reefs. Results of research: identification of reef fish in the family Chaetodontidae in village Lombang station 1 at a depth of 3 m and 10 m are found the number of individuals as much as 32 and 16 tail, while on station 2 in the village of Jateh at a depth of 3 meters and 10 meters found the number of individual fish as much as 59 tail and 14 tail. The results of the closing percentage of coral reefs at depths of 3 m Lombang village and 10 m are 51.08% living coral and Coral die 49.92%, 7.7% and 5.42%, other Fauna 4.64% and 11.1%, as well as abiotic component 30.12% and 40.02%, while Jateh village of 62.74% living coral and Coral die 43.34%, 6.92% and other Fauna 22.84%, 8.18% and 5.54%, as well as abiotic component 22.16% and 28.28%. The value of the density of fish in the Chaetodontidae family village Lombang 0.0426 Ind/m³ and 0.0064 Ind/m³, while in the village of Jateh 0.0786 Ind/m³ and 0.0056 Ind/m³.
