ABSTRAK Gula merupakan salah satu kebutuhan pangan nasional yang penting selain padi, jagung, telur dan kedelai. Jenis gula terdiri atas GKP (Gula Kristal Putih), GKR (Gula Kristal Rafinasi) dan GKM (Gula Kristal Mentah). Gula yang dihasilkan di Indonesia yaitu GKP dan GKR, sedangkan untuk GKM diperoleh dengan cara mengimpor dari negara lain sebagai bahan baku pembuatan Gula Kristal Rafinasi dan Gula kristal Putih. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah: (1) Untuk mendeskripsikan perkembangan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi impor gula di indonesia (2) Untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi impor gula di Indonesia. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda dengan metode OLS (Ordinary Least square) untuk mengetahui faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap impor gula di Indonesia. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa secara simultan variabel produksi, kurs, harga gula domestik, harga gula internasional, dummy2 dan dummy3 berpengaruh terhadap impor gula di Indonesia. Secara parsial faktor yang mempengaruhi impor gula di Indonesia yaitu kurs dan harga gula internasional. Impor gula mentah akan terus meningkat seiring dengan meningkatnya jumlah konsumsi gula nasional. Selama Indonesia tidak berupaya untuk menghasilkan produksi Gula Kristal Mentah. ABSTRACK Sugar is one of the important national food needs in addition to rice, corn, eggs and soybeans. This type of sugar consists of GKP (White Crystal Sugar), GKR (Refined Crystal Sugar) and GKM (Raw Crystal Sugar). Sugar produced in Indonesia is GKP and GKR, while for GKM is obtained by importing from other countries as raw material for making Crystal Refined Sugar and White Crystal Sugar. The purpose of this research are: (1) To describe the development of factors affecting the import of sugar in Indonesia (2) To know the factors that influence the import of sugar in Indonesia. The research method used is descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis with OLS (Ordinary Least square) method to find out the factors that influence sugar import in Indonesia. The results showed that simultaneously variables of production, exchange rate, domestic sugar price, international sugar price, dummy2 and dummy3 influenced sugar import in Indonesia. While the partial factors affecting the import of sugar in Indonesia is the exchange rate and international Sugar Price. Imports of raw sugar will continue to increase along with the increase in the amount of national sugar consumption. As long as Indonesia does not attempt to produce the production of Raw Crystal Sugar. Key Words: GKM Import, Multiple Linear Regression Analysis, OLS (Ordinary Least Square) Method
