    Abstraksi

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui karakteristik peternak sapi potong, mengetahui tingkat pendapatan peternak sapi potong dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi usaha ternak sapi potong di Desa Tolbuk Kecamatan Klampis Kabupaten Bangkalan. Metode penelitian menggunakan analisis Deskriptif Kualitatif dan Kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) peternak usaha ternak sapi potong di Desa Tolbuk Kecamatan Klampis Kabupaten Bangkalan berumur produktif yaitu berjumlah 47 orang dengan persentase 78%, tingkat pendidikannya yaitu SMP/sederajat sebesar 38 orang dengan persentase 63%, memiliki pengalaman beternak selama 10-20 tahun sebesar 55%, memiliki jumlah sapi yang dipelihara sebanyak 1-2 ekor sapi dengan persentase 50%, dan jumlah tanggungan keluarga sebanyak 3-4 orang dengan persentase 53.5%, 2) Rata-rata pendapatan peternak pada usaha ternak sapi potong di Desa Tolbuk sebesar Rp 15.802.450,56 per satu setengah tahun (18 bulan), 3) Faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan usaha ternak sapi potong secara parsial adalah pengalaman beternak, jumlah sapi, dan jumlah tanggungan keluarga

    Abstraction

    The purpose of this study is to know the characteristics of beef cattle ranchers, know the income level of beef cattle ranchers and the factors that influence the become of beef cattle business in Tolbuk Village Klampis Sub-district Bangkalan Regency. This research motive used descriptive qualitative and quantitative anaysis. The results showed that 1) livestock breeder farmer in Tolbuk Village Klampis Sub-district Bangkalan Regency was productive age which amounted to 47 people with percentage 78%, educations level is junior high/equal to 38 people with percentage 63%, having experience breeding for 10-20 year by 55%, have the number of cows that are kept as much as 1-2 cows by50%, and the number of dependent of the family as much 3-4 people with a percentage of 53.5%, 2) the average income of farmers in beef cattle business in Tolbuk Village Klampis Sub-district Bangkalan Regency 15.802.450,56/one and a half years (18 months), 3) the factors that influence the partial income of beef cattle business are the experience off breeding, the number of cows that are kept, and the number of family dependents
