Desa Kapedi memiliki jumlah populasi sapi potong terbesar di Kecamatan Bluto. Akan tetapi, peternak tidak memiliki lahan khusus pakan hijauan dan skala usaha masih berskala kecil karena minimnya modal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menganalisis karakteristik peternak, mengetahui pendapatan peternak, dan faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan peternak di Desa Kapedi. Penentuan responden dilakukan secara simple random sampling. Responden yang diambil sebanyak 84 orang. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis pendapatan, dan analisis regresi berganda. Hasil analisis menunjukkan peternak di Desa Kapedi berada pada tingkat umur produktif, tingkat pendidikan SD/MI, lama pengalaman sekitar 10-20 tahun, skala kepimilikan antara 2-3 ekor dengan jumlah tanggungan keluarga 4-5 orang. Rata-rata pendapatan peternak sebesar Rp 8.276.019 pertahun dengan RC/ratio 1,2. Dimana faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi pendapatan yaitu biaya bakalan, biaya pakan, dan biaya kandang. Kapedi has the biggest number of populations of beef cattles in Bluto subdistrict. However, farmers do not have a special area for forage feed. And the livestock business is minor because of the capital lack. The aims of this study are to analyze the characteristics of farmers, find out the income of farmers, and have some factors which influence their income in Kapedi. There are 84 respondents for this study. The determination of respondents was taken with simple random sampling. The analysis methods used are description, income and doubled-regresion analyzes. The result of this study shows that the farmers in Kapedi are at the productive age level, education level of SD / MI, 10-20 years of experience, and the scale of ownership between 2 and 3 cattles with the number of family dependents from 4 to 5 people. The average farmer's income is Rp 8,276,019 per year with RC / ratio 1.2. As for the factors which influence the income are seed, feed and cage costs.
