Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Bluto, Kecamatan Bluto, Kabupaten Sumenep yang termasuk salah satu daerah pengembangan sapi Madura. tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui pendapatan, kelayakan usaha, peran kelompok tani serta hubungan antara peran kelompok tani terhadap pendapatan. Penentuan responden dilakukan secara purposive (sengaja) berdasarkan pertimbangan dari Dinas Peternakan dengan sampel yang diambil sebanyak 34 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif, analisis pendapatan, analisis R/C ratio dan analisis korelasi Rank spearman. Hasil analisis menunjukkan ratarata pendapatan peternak sebesar Rp. 8.306.951 /ekor/ tahun dengan nilai R/C ratio sebesar 1,18. Peran kelompok tani yang paling dominan adalah wahana kerja sama dan unit usaha sedangkan hubungan peran kelompok taniterhadap pendapatan yang paling kuat yaitu unit usaha.

The research was conducted in Bluto Village, Bluto District, Sumenep Regency as one of the Madura cattle development areas. The purpose of the research was to know the income, business feasibility, the role of farmer groups and the relationship between the role of income. Determination of respondents conducted by purposive (deliberate) based on the consideration of the Livestock Service with samples taken as many as 34 respondents. The analysis method used descriptive analysis, income analysis, R / C ratio analysis and Spearman Rank correlation analysis. The result of analysis shows the average of farmer earnings of Rp. 8.306.951 / head / year with R/C ratio of 1.18. The most dominant role of the farmer groups was the vehicle for cooperation and business unit while the strongest role relationship the business unit.
