    Abstraksi

    Indonesia adalah negara yang kaya akan potensi keanekaragaman hayati. Salah satu keanekaraman hayati yaitu tumbuhan misalnya kelor. Tanaman kelor telah dikenal sebagai tanaman padat nutrisi dan berkhasiat obat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pertumbuhan stek kelor akibat panjang stek dan zat pengatur tumbuh yang berbeda serta interaksi keduanya. Penelitian dilakukan di Desa Sotabar Kecamatan Pasean, Pamekasan (±2 m dpl) pada November 2016-April 2017. Perlakuan menggunakan Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) faktorial dengan 2 faktor yaitu panjang stek (50 cm, 75 cm, dan 100 cm) dan zat pengatur tumbuh (IAA dan IBA) dan diulang 3 kali. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terjadi interaksi antara perlakuan panjang stek dan zat pengatur tumbuh terhadap variabel panjang tunas, jumlah cabang, jumlah daun, dan jumlah klorofil, akan tetapi terdapat interaksi pada variabel panjang akar, jumlah akar, berat basah akar, berat kering akar, berat basah daun, dan berat kering daun. Pertumbuhan stek kelor tertinggi pada pemberian IBA. Pertumbuhan stek kelor tertinggi pada interaksi A2B2 (panjang stek 100 cm dan IBA). Kata kunci : kelor, stek, zat pengatur tumbuh

    Abstraction

    Moringa tree has been known as a nutritious and considered as a medicinal plant. This study aimed to examine effect of length of stem cutting and types of growth regulator substance and their interactions on the growth of moringa cutting. The study was conducted in Sotabar Village, Pasean District, Pamekasan (± 2 m ASL) from November 2016 to April 2017. The research was a two way factorial arrangement on Completed Randomized Design (CRD). The first factor was cutting length of moringa stem consisting of 50 cm (A0), 75 cm (A1), and 100 cm (A2). The second factor was type of plant growth regulator namely IAA (B1) and IBA (B2). All treatments were repeated for 3 replications. The results showed that there was no interaction between the length of the cuttings and the type of growth regulator on bud length, branch and leaf number, and the amount of chlorophyll, but there were interactions on root length, root fresh and dry weight, leaf fresh and dry weight. The highest growth of the cuttings was due to IBA. The combination treatment of (A2B2) resulted the highest growth of the moringa stem cutting. Keywords: kelor, cuttings, growth regulator substances
