ABSTRACT Dewi Ayu Feryda Putri (2018), Effect of Career Development on Employee Performance with Job Satisfaction as Intervening Variable at Bangkalan Regional Personnel Board. Under the guidance of Dr.Muhammad Alkirom Wildan, SE., M.Si and Dr.Hj.Iriani Ismail, Dra., MM. The purpose of this study is to determine the Employee Performance of career development that is enforced in the Regional Personnel Agency Bangkalan (BKD) with Job Satisfaction as intervening variable. This research was conducted quantitatively with the method of distributing questionnaires in BKD Bangkalan. Sampling technique using stratified-cluster sampling with intervening regression and data analysis processed using computer software SPSS 16 for windows. The results showed that partially, career development had significant effect on employee performance, career development had significant effect to job satisfaction, job satisfaction had significant effect to employee performance, and career development had a significant effect on performance with job satisfaction as intervening variable. The result shows that 73.5% of employee performance is influenced by career development factor with job satisfaction variable as intervening variable, while the rest equal to 26,5% influenced by other variable.
