  • PENGARUH PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA DENGAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING TERHADAP KETERAMPILAN BERPIKIR KRITIS SISWA KELAS V DI SDN KRATON 2 BANGKALAN

    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pembelajaran matematika dengan model Problem Based Learning terhadap keterampilan berfikir kritis siswa, deskripsi keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V di SDN Kraton 2 Bangkalan selama pembelajaran matematika dengan model Problem Based Learning ditinjau dari aktivitas belajar siswa, dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran matematika dengan model Problem Based Learning. Pendekatan penelitian yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif-eksperimen dengan desain penelitian pretest-posttest control group design. Sampel dipilih dengan menggunakan teknik simple random sampling. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan metode tes dan observasi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Ada pengaruh yang signifikan pada penerapan pembelajaran matematika dengan model problem based leaning (PBL) terhadap keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa kelas V di SDN Kraton 2 Bangkalan. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil uji-t dengan taraf signifikan (?) = 0,025 dan n = 16-1 = 15 sebesar thitung = 2,881 dan ttabel = 2,145. (2) Ditinjau dari aktivitas siswa diperoleh hasil bahwa rata-rata keterampilan berpikir kritis siswa pada kelompok eksperimen memperoleh presentase sebesar 75,5% dan kelompok kontrol sebesar 42,5% (3) Pelaksanaan pembelajaran matematika pada kelompok eksperimen dan kontrol dikatakan berhasil dilaksanakan oleh peneliti dengan sangat baik dengan persentase rata-rata yang diperoleh yaitu 99,45% untuk kelompok eksperimen dan 97,65% untuk kelompok kontrol.     Abstraction

    This research aims to determine the influence of mathematics learning by using Problem Based Learning model against critical thinking skills of students, descriptions of critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at SDN Kraton 2 Bangkalan for learning mathematics by using Problem Based Learning model in terms of student activities, and enforceability of mathematics learning by using Problem Based Learning models. The research approach used is a quantitative approach-experimental research by using pretest-posttest control group design. Samples were selected using simple random sampling technique. The data collection was conducted using tests and observation methods. The research results show that: (1) There is a significant effect on the application mathematics learning by using problem-based learning model (PBL) to the critical thinking skills of fifth grade students at Kraton 2 elementary school Bangkalan. This statement is evidenced by the results of the t-test with significance level (?) = 0,025 and n = 16-1 = 15 for t = 2.881 and t table = 2.145 (2) Based on student activity showed that the average critical thinking skills of students in the experimental group get 75.5 % and the control group get 42.5 % (3) Implementation of mathematics learning in the experimental group and the control is said to be successfully implemented by researchers very well with a percentage of the average obtained is 99.45 % for the experimental group and 97.65 % for the control group Keywords: problem based learning models, critical thinking skills, students activities
