    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola adaptasi siswa yang baru memasuki kelas satu di SDN Socah 1 Bangkalan. Siswa pada saat awal masuk sekolah masih belum terbiasa dengan lingkungan barunya, sehingga memerlukan adaptasi dengan lingkungan dan pelajaran di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi kepada guru dan siswa kelas 1. Kegiatan triangulasi data dilakukan untuk menjaga keabsahan data. Kegiatan analisis data dimulai dari pengambilan data, telaah data, reduksi data, menyusun data, pemeriksaan keabsahan data, dan penafsiran data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa pola adaptasi siswa kelas satu di SDN Socah 1 Bangkalan terlihat ada 4 pola adaptasi yang berbeda. Siswa masih mengalami hambatan-hambatan saat beradaptasi seperti dalam berinteraksi dengan guru dan teman-temannya, dan hambatan dalam pelajaran seperti siswa masih belum bisa menerima pelajaran dengan baik, siswa masih kesulitan membaca dan menulis. Peran guru terlihat lebih dominan daripada orang tua, guru membantu siswa beradaptasi, guru juga membantu siswa yang mengalami hambatan dalam pelajaran, meskipun demikian orang tua juga berperan dalam membantu siswa beradaptasi di sekolah.     Abstraction

    This research aims to find out the adaptation pattern of students that just entered 1st grade at SDN Socah 1 Bangkalan. The students that just entered school are still not accustomed with their new sphere, so they need the adaptation with that spere and their studies in the school. This research uses descriptive qualitative method. The data collection are done by interview, observation, and documentation to the teachers and the 1st grade students. Triangulation data are done to keep the validation. Data analysis are started from data collection, data analysis, data reduction, data compilation, data validation, and data interpretation. The research results that the adaptation pattern of 1st grade students in SDN Socah 1 Bangkalan shows that there is 4 different adaptation patterns. The students are still experiencing the obstacles on adaptating such as on interacting with their teachers and friends, and the obstacles on their studies, they still can not receive the lessons well, they still face the difficulty on reading and writing. The role of teachers seems mroe dominant than the parents, teachers help the student to adapt, teachers also helps the students that face the obstacles on their studies, nevertheless parents also have a role in students adaptation in the school.
