    Abstraksi

    ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode pembelajaran discovery terhadap hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah siswa pada matapelajaran IPA materi sifat-sifat cahaya kelas V dan untuk mengetahui respon siswa terhadap proses pembelajaran menggunakan metode pembelajaran discovery. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SDN Tlogopojok Gresik. Metode yang digunakan adalah quasi eksperimen dengan design nonequivalent control group design dan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh.Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah. Hasil uji t-testhasil belajar sig.(2-tailed) diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05 begitu juga perhitungan uji t-test sikap ilmiah diperoleh 0,000 < 0,05, maka dapat disimpulkan Ha diterima yang artinya ada pengaruh metode pembelajaran discovery terhadap hasil belajar dan sikap ilmiah pada matapelajaran IPA kelas V. Kata Kunci: metode pembelajaran discovery, hasil belajar, sikap ilmiah

    Abstraction

    ABSTRACT The purposes of the study are to determine the influence of discovery learning method on students learning result and scientific attitude on science subject, focused on the subject of illumination properties at fifth grade and also to determine students responds on learning process that utilizes the discovery learning method. The study is conducted at SDN Tlogopojok Gresik. The method applied is quasi experiment in nonequivalent control group design. Samples collecting technique applied is saturated sampling.The instruments applied is student result and student scientific attitude. The result of t-test of student result sig. (2-tailed) obtains a value of 0,000 < 0,05, as same as the calculation of t-test of student scientific attitude; 0,000 < 0,05. Therefore, it can be concluded that Ha is accepted. It also implied that there is an influence of discovery learning method on student result and student sceintific attitude on science subject at fifth grade of elementary.
