    Abstraksi

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas hasil belajar IPS menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) dan siswa yang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode ceramah pada siswa SD kelas IV di SDN Mandala 1 Sumenep .Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan metode Quasi experimental design jenis Nonequivalent Control group Design. Instrument penelitiann ini terdiri dari tes hasil belajar, observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa, serta angket respon siswa. Tekhnik pengambilan sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampling jenuh. Hasil analisa data menunjukkan nilai t hitung > t tabel yaitu3.407 > 2.120, maka H0 ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan efektivitas model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe CIRC Terhadap Hasil Belajar IPS. Pelaksanaan pembelajaran IPS sangat efektif dengan observasi aktivitas guru dan siswa dalam pembelajaran dengan sangat baik, serta respon siswa yang baik dengan menggunakan model CIRC.

    Abstraction

    This study has an objective to determine the differences of Social Science learning outcomes between students who attend cooperative learning in the type of cooperative integrated reading and composition (CIRC) and students who attend lecture method on fourth grade elementary school students in SDN Mandala 1 Sumenep. This study uses quantitative approach with Quasi experimental design and the technique of Nonequivalent Control group Design, instruments of this study are achievement test, observation of teacher and students’ activities, and students’ responses questionnaire. The sample of this study uses saturated sampling technique. The data analysis results show the value of tcount>ttableis 3.407 > 2.120, then H0 is rejected, so it can be concluded that there are differences of the effectiveness of Cooperative learning model in the Type of CIRC on Social Science Learning Outcomes.
