This study is aimed to discusse the autobiographical acts of Norah Vincent’s Self-Made Man. The analysis of this book focuses on the element of reading autobiography. This study aims to explain the parts of autobiographical “I” portrayed in Norah’s Self-Made Man. It also aims to explain the Journey of Norah Vincent when she as a woman until she becomes a man and back to be a woman in Norah Vincent’s book Self-Made Man. This study uses qualitative research design as the method, because the data is in the form of words and utterances. The source of data of this study is a book entitled Self-Made Man. Since this study concerns on the autobiographical acts of the author, thus the study uses theory which are proposed by Sidone Smith and Julia Watson.
