The purpose of this study is to determine the types of women’s speech features and find out the most dominant type of women’s speech features used in Grown Ups 2 movie. It also explains the functions of women’s speech features. The writer use qualitative research design since the data are in the form of words. Source of data of this study is Grown Ups 2 movie, while any utterance produced by Roxanne Feder, Deanne McKenzie, Sally Lamonsoff and Penny that contain women’s speech features were taken as data. The data are collected by using content analysis method. In analyzing the data, the writer use interactive data. The results showed nine types of women’s speech features found in the findings related to the research questions, they are: lexical hedges fillers, tag question, rising intonation on declaratives, empty adjective, intensifiers, hypercorrect grammar, super polite form, avoidance of strong swear word and emphatic stress. Lexical hedges fillers and intensifier became the most dominant types of women’s speech feature used by female characters with 6 data found each type. The researcher also found the function of women’s speech features. Those are, as hedging device because women feels uncertainty about her statement, and as boosting device to strengthen their statement. There were some features which do not have specific function
