Pulau Poteran merupakan pulau yang memiliki sumberdaya gastropoda. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui asosiasi gastropoda di ekosistem mangrove. Pengambilan sampel dilakukan pada saat air surut, dengan transek 10x10 m2 untuk vegetasi mangrove dan 1x1 m2 untuk transek biota gastropoda. Pada setiap stasiun terdapat 3 titik pengambilan sampel. Analisa data meliputi INP mangrove, kepadatan, keanekaragaman, keseragaman, dan dominansi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa jenis gastropoda yang ditemukan yaitu Littorina scabra, Cerithedia cingulata, Nerita histrio. Pada pesisir Desa Kombang yaitu stasiun I mangrove jenis Sonneratia alba nilai INP berkisar 128,2-300, Rhizophora stylosa sebesar 134,62 dan Avicennia alba sebesar 37,16. Pada pesisir Desa Palasa stasiun II mangrove jenis Sonneratia alba dengan nilai INP berkisar antara 180,6-223,25 dan Rhizophora stylosa INP berkisar 66,75-119,39 Di pesisir Desa Kombang yang mempuyai kepadatan gastropoda berkisar antara 5,6-13,8 ind/m2, dan Desa Palasa yang mempunyai kepadatan berkisar antara 3-6,6 ind/m2. Keanekaragaman termasuk dalam kategori rendah, keseragaman termasuk dalam kategori tinggi dan dominansi termasuk dalam kategori sedang. Hubungan asosiasi kerapatan mangrove dan kepadatan gastropoda trend semakin rapat mangrove semakin tinggi kepadatan. Kata kunci : Asosiasi gastropoda, mangrove, Poteran
AbstractionPoteran Island is an island which have very much potential resources gastropods. The aims of research are to know about association of gastropods on mangrove ecosystem. Sampling coudneted at low tide, used transect on a scale 10x10 m2 for mangrove vegetation and 1x1 m2 for biota gastropods transect. There was 2 village have been sampled, Kombang and Palasa every village have been sampled 3 stasions at each station there’s 3 sampling points and for gastropods sampling. Data analysis covered by mangrove INP’s, density, variety, similarity, and dominance. Research result is showing that species of gastropods which has discovered was Littorina scabra, Cerithedia cingulata, Nerita histrio. In Kombang station I village’s coast, mangrove's spesies of Sonneratia alba have high dominance with INP’s value about 128,2-300, Followed by Rhizophora stylosa about 134,62 and Avicennia alba about 37,16. In Palasa village’s coast station II, mangrove's spesies of Sonneratia alba with INP’s value about 180,6-223,25 and Rhizophora stylosa’s INP about 66,75-119,39. In station I which had gastropods density about 5,6-13,8 ind/m2, and station II which had density about 3-6,6 ind/m2. Variety included at low categories, similarity included at high categories and dominance included at medium categories. Association of mangrove density and gastropods density is when mangrove has high density closer then gastropods density became higher too. Key Word: Association gastropods, mangrove, Poteran
