    Abstraksi

    Abstraction

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing the quality of the waters and gastropod community structures in the Avicennia and Rhizophora mangrove ecosystems in the waters of Bangkalan Regency. This research is quantitative by using research data collection methods of observation and accompanied by systematic recording of the type of gastropods. Water quality parameters measured in this study were acidity (pH), temperature, salinity, Dissolved Oxygen (DO), and substrate. Measurement of water quality parameters and the search for Avicennia and Rhizophora mangrove gastropod structures were carried out at 3 stations, namely the coastal villages of Tajungan, Telang Village, and Socah Village which were divided based on different environmental conditions. The results obtained showed that from all data obtained in the field, the water quality in Bangkalan Regency was in the optimum range. Gastropods in the Rhizophora.sp and Avicennia.sp mangroves have diverse densities, dominance and uniformity. Environmental conditions greatly affect the gastropod community. Key words: gastropods, water quality, community structure, different types of mangroves.
