    Abstraksi

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis permintaan tenaga kerja pada usaha pemotongan besi tua, studi kasus di Desa Tanjung Jati Kecamatan Kamal yang meliputi variabel usia, upah, pengalaman kerja, status pekerjaan, jam kerja, tingkat pendidikan, alasan. Dalam penelitian ini menggunakan data yang diperoleh dari hasil survei atau wawancara dengan 40 responden. Metode analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Ordinary Least Square dengan variabel dependen yaitu jumlah tenaga kerja besi tua dan variabel independen yaitu usia, upah, pengalaman kerja, status pekerjaan, jam kerja, tingkat pendidikan, alasan. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai uji multikolinearitas memiliki nilai correlation matrix di bawah 0,85. Hasil Uji Heterokedatisitas memiliki nilai probabilitas sebesar 0,2958, sedangkan uji normalitas sebesar 1,922806. Sedangkan nilai Chi-Squared tabel pada ? = 5 persen sebesar 7,81.     Abstraction

    The Purpose of this study is to determine and analyze a demand for a labor to apply a job in old-iron cutting business in Desa Tanjung Jati, Kecamatan Kamal. The variable were used to hire new employee include, the number of ages, salary, experience, the worker’s status, working time, educational background and the reason why they are interested in applying this job. The data in this research were collected by an interview with 40 peoples. The writer uses Ordinary Least Square method to analyze this research. Two kinds of variable were used in this method. They are, dependent variable include, how much the number of worker in old-iron cutting business and independent variable include, number of ages, salary, experience, the worker’s status, working time, educational background and the reason why they are interested in applying this job. The result showed the value of Multikolinearitas test have matrix correlation value underneath 0,85. Also in this research, the result of Heterokedatisitas test showed probability value about 0,2958. Meanwhile, Normalitas test of this research showed about 1,922806. And Chi-Squared table showed value ? = 5 percent about 7,81 Keywords: Labor, Age , Salary, Experience, Worker’s Status, Working Time, Educational Background and Reasons.
