Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji dan menganalisis pengaruh pendidikan dan pelatihan, lama kerja sebagai anggota DPRD, pengalaman menjadi DPRD, asal partai politik, jabatan pada partai politik, pemahaman regulasi, dan pengetahuan dewan tentang anggaran terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Penelitian ini dilakukan di DPRD Kabupaten Bangkalan. Jumlah sampel dalam penelitian ini adalah 50 responden. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelelitian ini adalah purposive sampling. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendidikan dan pelatihan, pengalaman menjadi DPRD, asal partai politik, jabatan pada partai politik, pemahaman regulasi, pengetahuan dewan tentang anggaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Akan tetapi, lama kerja sebagai anggota DPRD tidak berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Dan secara simultan berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap peran anggota DPRD dalam pengawasan keuangan daerah. Kata kunci: pendidikan dan pelatihan, lama kerja sebagai anggota DPRD, pengalaman menjadi DPRD, asal partai politik, jabatan pada partai politik, pemahaman regulasi, pengetahuan dewan tentang anggaran, pengawasan keuangan daerah.

This research was conducted to examine and analyze the influence of education and training, the period of employment as a member of Parliament, the experience of being a member of Parliament, the origin of political party, the position in the political party, the understanding of regulations, and the knowledgement of the Parliament’s member to their role to supervise the financial side include its budget side. This research was conducted in Bangkalan Parliament. The samples used in this research were 50 respondents which all of them are members of the Bangkalan’s Parliament. Sampling technique used in this research is purposive sampling. The results of this research indicates that education and training, the experience of being a member of Parliament, the origin of political party, a position in a political party, understanding of regulations, the knowledgement of the Parliament’s member have positive and significant impact to their role to supervise the financial side include its budget side. However, the period of employment as a member of Parliament does not have positive and significant impact to their role to supervise the financial side include its budget side. And the simultaneously have positive and significant impcat to their role to supervise the financial side include its budget side.
