    Nita Uswatun. 2015. Perbandingan Hasil Belajar Matematika Materi Pecahan Menggunakan Pembelajaran Talking Stick Dan Snowball Throwing. Program Studi Pendidikan Guru Sekolah Dasar, Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan, Universitas Trunojoyo Madura. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan dua metode pembelajaran yaitu metode pembelajaran talking stick dan snowball throwing pada pelajaran matematika materi pecahan kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian nonequivalen pretest-posttest design. Peneliti membandingakan dua metode tersebut dengan cara menguji hipotesis komparatif. Perbandingan dua model pembelajaran talking stick dengan snowball throwing diperoleh dari hasil posttest kedua kelompok. Hasil pengujian statistik uji-t (perbedaan dua rata-rata) pada nilai post test diperoleh thitung = -0.031 dan ttabel = 2.002 dengan kriteria pengujian Ho diterima jika -ttabel ? thitung ? ttabel. Kriteria pengujian Ho diterima dan Ha ditolak karena -0.031 ? 2.002. Sehingga kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah tidak ada perbedaan signifikan hasil belajar pada pelajaran matematika materi pecahan antara model pembelajaran talking stick dan snowball throwing.Hasil angket respon siswa pada kelompok eksperimen 1 dan kelompok eksperimen 2 mendapatkan respon yang baik dan senang mengikuti pembelajaran dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe talking stick dan snowball throwing. ABSTRACT This study aimed at comparing two learning methods are talking stick and snowball throwing of mathematics’ achievement for IV grade. This study was quantitative research with non-equivalent pretest-posttest design. The researcher compared two methods by examining the comparative hypothesis. The comparison of both talking stick and snowball learning models were obtained from the result of posttest within two groups. The findings of statistical T-Test (the comparison of two averages) on posttest value were tcalculation = -0.031 and ttable = 2.002 with its criteria as follows; Ho was accepted if -ttable ? tcalculation ? ttable. The criteria of accepted Ho and rejected Ho were caused of -0.031 ? 2.002. It can be concluded that there were no significant comparison of achievement on mathematics matter of fraction materials between talking stick and snowball throwing. The result of students’ response questionnaire on experimental group 1 and 2 revealed that there were respectable and enjoyable responses in following the learning with cooperative learning models within talking stick and snowball throwing types.
