Analisis butir soal sangat penting dilakukan sebelum melaksanakan ulangan tengah semester. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menjelaskan kualitas butir soal meliputi validitas logis, reliabilitas, tingkat kesukaran, daya pembeda dan pengecoh. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Populasi yang digunakan berjumlah sebanyak 42 sekolah dengan jumlah siswa 1.544 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan stratified random sampling. Sekolah yang digunakan yaitu SDN Kemayoran 1 sebagai perwakilan dari sekolah berakreditasi A, SDN Demangan 4, SDN Pejagan 1, SDN Pejagan 2 sebagai perwakilan berakreditasi B, SDN Pangeranan 1 dan SDN Kraton 5 sebagai perwakilan berakreditasi C dengan jumlah sampel 157 siswa. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa (1) Soal ulangan tengah semester I mata pelajaran IPA kelas III SD Negeri kecamatan Bangkalan tergolong sangat baik. Sedangkan dalam pengukuran validitas isi sudah baik dengan kriteria kesesuaian sebesar 85%. (2) Soal tersebut memiliki reliabilitas yang sangat baik pada soal pilihan ganda. (3) Soal tersebut memiliki tingkat kesukaran yaitu 30% mudah, 45% sedang dan 25% sukar. (4) Soal tersebut memiliki daya pembeda soal yaitu 10% baik sekali, 45% baik, 30% cukup dan 15% jelek. (5) Soal tersebut memiliki pengecoh yaitu 75% berfungsi dan 25% tidak berfungsi.

Analysis of items is essential before implementing replay midterm test. The purpose of this research describes the quality of the items, include logical validity, reliabilitiy, difficulty level, distinguishing features and detractors. This research is a quantitave-descriptive research. The number of population in this research is 42 schools. Sampling techinque used is stratified random sampling. Schools used was Public Primary School 1 of Kemayoran as the representative of primary school with A accreditation, Public Primary School 4 of Demangan, Public Primary School 1 of Pejagan and Public Primary School 2 of Pejagan as the representative of primary school with B accreditation, while Public Primary School 1 of Pangeranan and Public Primary School 5 of Kraton as the representative with C accreditation, the sample amount is 157 students. Based on research result, the researcher conclusion was (1) Mid-semester’s 1 questions in Natural Science for grade III in sub district of Bangkalan public primary school are very good. (2) The questions themselves have very good credibility. (3) The composition of the questions is 30% easy, 45% medium, 25% hard. (4) The questions’ level of distinction considered as 10% very good, 45% good, 30% good enough and 15% bad. (5) The questions have trick makers which are 75% function well and 25% do not.
