Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan metode Snowball Throwing terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran PKn kelas IV di SDN Banyuajuh 5 Kamal. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif dengan desain nonequivalen. Populasi siswa dan sampel dari penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Banyuajuh 5 Kamal, dengan jumlah 21 siswa dan sampel dari penelitian ini adalah semua populasi yaitu 21 siswa kelas IV SDN Banyuajuh 5 Kamal. Pengujian hipotesis menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana dan uji signifikan (uji-t), hasil persamaan regresi menunjukkan Y= 12,253 + 1,047.X dengan nilai korelasi (r) 0,833, maka terdapat pengaruh positif yang artinya terjadi hubungan searah antara nilai pretest kelas eksperimen dan nilai postest kelas eksperimen. Uji signifikan (uji-t) diperoleh thitung 6,562 > ttabel 2,093, H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima, yakni terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara nilai pretest kelas eksperimen terhadap nilai postest kelas eksperimen. Respon siswa berkategori sangat baik, siswa sangat tertarik dengan metode Snowball Throwing. Indikator pertama sebesar 87,71%, indikator kedua 80,33%, dan pada indikator ketiga sebesar 84,84%.
AbstractionThe objective of this research is to find out the influence of using Throwing Snowball method towards students’ learning outcomes in the subject of civic education at fourth graders of Banyuajuh 5 Kamal elementary school. This research is quantitative research by utilizing nonequivalen design. Population and sample of this research were the 21 students of fourth graders at Banyuajuh 5 Kamal elementary school, and sample of this research were all of the 21 students at fourth graders of Banyuajuh 5 Kamal elementary school. Hypotesis was tested using simple linier regression test and significant tes (t-test), the result showed regresion equation Y= 12,253 + 1,047.X with corelation value of (r) 0,833, thus there is a oneway relation between the pretest score of experimental class and the postest score of experimental class. Significant test (t-test) were obtained that tcalculation of 6,562 > ttable of 2,093, Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted, so there is a significant influence between the pretest score of experimental class and teh postest score of experimental class. Response of the students which categorized really good, showed that the students were very interested in the use of Throwing Snowball method. The first indicator reached 87,71%, the second indicator reached 80,33%, and the third indicator reached 84,84%.
