ABSTRAK Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui peran komite sekolah dalam menunjang pembelajaran di SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan subjek sebanyak 6 (enam) SD di Kecamatan Kebomas. Pegumpulan dilakukan dengan teknik wawancara, dokumentasi, dan observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa keterlibatan komite sekolah meiputi keterlibatan komite sekolah dalam struktur sekolah, (b) melaksanakan perannya sebagai badan pertimbangan, badan pengontrol, badan pendukung dan badan penghubung. Program kerja komite sekolah antara lain penyusunan RAPBS, ikut serta dalam penyusunan program sekolah, pembangunan sarana dan prasarana sekolah, menyusun program sekolah dalam menunjang kegiatan pendidikan dan ekstrakurikuler, Rapat Anggota Komite, menjalin kerja sama dengan dunia usaha dan industri, menjalin kerja sama dengan orang tua dan komite sekolah lain, dan melaksanakan program partisipatif melalui pendataan siswa tidak mampu untuk mendapatkan bebas biaya pendidikan. Peran komite sekolah dalam menunjang pembelajaran meliputi menentukan program sekolah, menyelenggarakan program les belajar, dan melaksanakan kegiatan outbond melalui kegiatan pengenalan lingkungan dan program adiwiyata sekolah Kata Kunci: (1) Komite Sekolah, (2) Proses Pendidikan, (3) Proses Pembelajaran, dan (4) Sekolah Dasar

(II) Wahid Khoirul Ikhwan, S.Pd.,M.Pd. ABSTRACT The purpose of the research to find out the role of the school commitee in supporting learning in elementary school. This research uses descriptive qualitative approach to the subject as many as six elementary school in district Kebomas. Data collection uses interview, observastion and documentation. The result of this research shows that school commitee involvement include involvement of school commitee in the structure of the school, (b) carry out its role as the governing consideration, controller, supporter and liasion. School commitee work programme, among others, the arragement of the RAPBS, participated in the arragement school programs, shcool facilities, and infrastructure development, the school fasilities and infrastucture, device school programs in support of education and extrakurikuler, meeting of members of the commitee, estabilished cooperation with the business world and industry,estabilshed cooperation with parents and other school commitees, and implementing programs partisipatif through the student not being able to logging to get cost-free education. The role of the school commitee in support of learning include determain school programs, additonal lessons program organizes, executes outbond activities through the introduction of environmental programs and adiwiyata program.
