This study aimed to describe registers in Joger words, include four types of registers and six functions of registers. This research is qualitative method. The subjects is words contained in each Joger store in bali. The object of research is the type of register and function registers in Joger words. The method of collecting the data in this study is the observation method through note taking technique and to analyze the data, the writer uses the interactive analysis of data. In the findings, the writer found123 data. The writer found four types of register, there are type familiar 7data, type informal 71 data, type formal 37 data, type ceremonial 8 data. The writer also found 6 functions of register. Those are 23 data which belong to instrumental function, 7data which belong to interaction function, 5 data which belong to personal function, 28 data which belong to heuristics function, 33 data which belong to imagination function,27 data which belong to information function. ????
