The aim of this article is to explain the use of sense relations in Science & Environment Column on BBC News. The article in each edition used was analyzed from semantics approach focusing in sense relations. The form of sentences, phrases, or words is to investigate to cover the existence of the types of sense relations and to find the most frequently appeared type of sense relations applied in Science & Environment Column on BBC News. The six types of sense relations from eight types of sense relations are applied in the data and hyponymy as the frequently type of sense relations are the result of this study.
