Penasihat: Dr. Masduki, M.Pd Penelitian ini berfokus untuk menganalisis makna asosiatif pada lirik lagu Eminem. Penulis memilih 3 lirik lagu oleh Eminem's: Cleanin 'Out My Closet, Just Do not Give A Fuck, dan My Daddy Gone Crazy. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui jenis asosiatif asosiatif dan apa fungsi asosiatifnya. Penulis memilih lirik lagu Eminem karena dua alasan. Yang pertama kondisi kehidupan yang sulit, baik dari sisi ekonomi, pelacur, sosial dan obsesi mereka dengan kehidupan sehari-hari mereka adalah bekerja. Penulis menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dalam penelitian ini. Lirik lagu Eminem dikumpulkan dan dimasukkan ke dalam tabel. Setelah itu, teori semantik Goeffrey Leech digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi jenis dan fungsi dari makna asosiatif. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa ada jenis asosiatif asosiatif dan fungsinya. Dalam penelitian ini ditemukan temuan berdasarkan fakta pada 43 data dalam data berdasarkan teori Leech. Penulis data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini diambil dari lirik lagu Eminem, peneliti menemukan jenis makna asosiatif: makna sosial (37 data), makna konotatif (7 data), makna kolocative (3 data), tercermin makna (1 data) dan Fungsi dari makna asosiatif yang ditemukan dalam 3 lirik lirik lagu Eminem yang dikumpulkan oleh penulis. Pd This study focuses on analyzing associative meaning in Eminem’s song lyrics. The author choose 3 song lyrics by Eminem’s: Cleanin’ Out My Closet, Just Don’t Give A Fuck, and My Daddy Gone Crazy. This study aims to find out types of associative meaning and what are the functions of associative meaning are. The author selects Eminem’s song lyrics for two reason. The first the difficult living conditions, both in terms of economy, prostitute, social and their obsession with their daily life is into to work. The writer uses a descriptive qualitative method in this research. The Eminem’s song lyrics are collected and put into the table. After that, the Goeffrey Leech’s semantic theory is used to identify the types and function of associative meaning. The result of this study showed that there are type of associative meanings and its functions. In this study findings based the in facts founds 43 data in the data based on Leech’s theory. The data writer employed in this research were taken from Eminem song lyrics, the researcher founds a types associative meanings: social meaning (37 data), connotative meaning (7 data), collocative meaning (3 data), reflected meaning (1 data) and function of associative meaning which are found in the 3 lyrics of Eminem’s song lyrics collected by the writer.
