ABSTRAK Penenlitian dilakukan di Desa Labuhan Kecamatan Sreseh Kabupaten Sampang, yang bertujuan 1. mengetahui peran istri nelayan pada usaha kerupuk kipas dalam membantu memenuhi kebutuan keluarga 2. mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi partisipasi istri nelayan pada pendapatan keluarga. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode Deskriptif Kualitatif, Kuantitatif Asumsi Klasik dan Regesi . Hasil dari penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat dua peran yang dilakukan oleh istri nelayan, yaitu peran produktif dan peran reproduktif. Sumbangan istri nelayan terhadap pendapatan keluarga sebesar Rp 20.150,- (40,62%) sedangkan sumbangan suami terhadap pendapatan keluarga sebesar Rp 29.450,- ( 59,38%). Terdapat beberapa faktor yang berpengaruh terhadap partisipasi istri nelayan dalam membantu pendapatan keluarg. Faktor-faktor tersebut adalah umur, lama pendidikan, jumlah tanggungan dan pendapatan suami. Faktor umur, lama pendidikan dan pendapatan suami memberikan tambahan pendapatan atau berpengaruh positif terhadap partisipasi istri nelayan dalam menambah pendapatan keluarga. Sedangkan faktor jumlah tanggungan mengurangi pendapatan atau berpengaruh negatif terhadap partisipasi istri nelayan dalam menambah pendapatan keluarga. Saran dari penelitian ini adalah 1..menerapkan program KB pada keluarga nelayan, karena untuk mengontrol jumlah anak. 2 pemerintah diharapkan memberikan pelatihan kepada isteri nelayan terkait pengolahan ikan, hal ini dimaksudkan untuk meningkatkan kualitas SDM yang tidak mungkin dia akan dapatkan pada jalur pendidikan formal. ABSTRACT Research conducted in Labuan village, District of Sreseh Sampang, which have purpose to 1. know the fisherman's wife role in the fan crackers to help the family necessity 2. determine the factors that influence participation of fisherman’s wife to family income. The method used is descriptive method Qualitative, Quantitative Classical Assumption and Regesi. The results of research showed that there are two roles performed by the fisherman's wife, that are productive role and reproductive roles. Fisherman's wife contribution to the family income of Rp 20.150, - (40.62%) while the husband's contribution to the family income of Rp 29 450, - (59.38%). There are several factors that influence to the participation of fisherman's wife to help family income. These factors are age, length of education, number of dependents and husband’s income. The factors Age, length of education and husband’s income provide additional income or positive effect to the participation of fisherman's wife to adds the family income. While the factors number of dependents decrease the income or have negatively affect to the participation of fisherman's wife to adds the family income. The suggestions of this study is 1. Apply family planning programs on family fishing, cause to control the number of children. 2 government is expected to provide training related to the fisherman’s wife to fish processing, it is intended to increase the quality of human resources which impossible they get in formal education.
