ABSTRAK Ivika Johar Taufik, Hubungan antara Locus of Control dengan Kecemasan Menghadapi Batas Akhir Masa Studi Mahasiswa, Program Studi Psikologi Universitas Trunojoyo Madura, 2015 xvii + 61Halaman, 43Lampiran Kecemasan pasti sering dialami oleh setiap orang baik di lingkungan masyarakat, social ataupun instansi pendidikan seperti Universitas. Banyak Mahasiswa mengalami kecemasan terutama saat menghadapi tugas akhir, molornya masa studi, yang disertai dengan tekanan-tekanan dari lingkungannya s eperti orang tua maupun saudara yang mendesak agar cepat lulus.Selain itu ada factor dari dalam diri mahasiswa yang dapat mempengaruhi kecemasanya itu locus of control . Locus of control merupakan karakteristik kepribadian yang dimiliki setiap individu untuk dapat mengontrol semua perilakunya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara locus of control dengan kecemasanmenghadapi batas akhir studi mahasiswa.Penelitianini menggunakan metode kuantitatif korelasional. Populasi dari penelitian ini adalah 279 mahasiswasampel dari penelitian ini berjumlah 74 mahasiswa dari Fakultas Ilmu Sosial dan Ilmu Budaya Universitas Trunojoyo yang terdiri dari 4 jurusan Psikologi, Sastra Inggris, Ilmu Komunikasi, dan Sosiologi.Variabel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah locus of control dan kecemasan. Alat pengumpul data berupa Skalalocus of control yang dikembangkan dari 2 aspek locus of control dari levenson dan Skala Kecemasan yang 4 aspek dari Stuart & Sundeen. Tehnik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis korelasi Product Moment dari Pearson dengan bantuan program SPSS 16.0for window. Dari hasil analisis data penelitian, diperoleh koefisien korelasi product moment person sebesar0,402 dan tingkat signifikansi 0,000 (p<0,05). Hasil ini menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antaralocus of control dengan kecemasan menghadapi batas akhir studi mahasiswa. Peningkatan locus of control akan diikuti dengan peningkatan kecemasan. Kata Kunci :locus of control, kecemasan

Many student experience anxiety, especially when facing the final task, thes study perid, accompanied by the pressures of the environment, such as parents or siblings are urged to quickly pass. In addition, there are factor student that can affect the anxiety that is the locus of control. Locus of control is personality characteristic for each individual to be able to control all of its behavior.This study aimed to determine the relationship between the locus of control with anxiety face deadline student studies. This study uses a quantitative correlation. The population of this study were 279 students a sample of this study amounted to 74 students from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities University of Trunojoyo which consists of four departments of Psychology, English Literature, Communication Studies, and Sociology. The variables used in this study is the locus of contsrol and anxiety. Data collection tool such as locus of control scale were developed from two aspects of the locus of control of Levenson and Anxiety Scale 4 aspects of Stuart & Sundeen. Sampling technique used is simple random sampling. Analysis of the data used is the analysis of Pearson Product Moment correlation with SPSS 16.0 for windows. From the analysis of the research data, the product moment correlation coefficient of 0.402 persons and a significance level of 0.000 (p <0.05). These results suggest there is a positive and significant relationship between locus of control with anxiety face deadline student studies. Increased locus of control will be followed by an increase in anxiety. Keywords: locus of control, anxiety
