This research abstract titled “Gay Communication Process With Their Partners” who performed in the Sdoarjo city. The purpose of this study was to determine how the gay communication process with their partner. To answer those above, resercehrs compilade the study identification process of laswels communication, interpersonal communication, phases devito, the consep of self thourgg of Johari Window and self – disclouser. This reseacrh is qulaitatif research. While the methods used in this research research is descriptive. Through a qualitative approach, data obtained the primary data, and secondary data, where primary data obtined through observation and in depth interviews, and secondary data obtained from the additional documents as books. The subject of the research in this study were a gay couple. The result showed that gay communication process with their partners when of gay conveiying verbal and nonverbal messages, either through by media or face to face directly to their partners that made and effect. Gay communication process with their partner through several stages of communication. Gay divided into three types, which are household type, courtship type, and disposable type, where the types are diffrent so the communication process communication phases will also be different. Gay couples going through the communication phase will running a communication process. Communication made by gay with they partner was more likely to use nonverbal language when beginning in the introduction, but when it enters a deeper phase they will use verbal language.
