This study concerns with psychological problem which is about grief. This study intends to discuss the grief experienced by the main character in the novel. Concerning with these matter, this study focuses on the feelings that show the main character’s grief and how the main character copes and heals her grief. Psychology and Literature is used to be the underlying theory focuses on the grief topic to analyze the novel. Grief and the Feelings of Grief are used to analyze the feelings which shown by the main character. The next, Coping Mechanism is used to explore the way the main character copes with the grief. Last but not least, the way the main character heals the grief is explained through the Six Needs of Mourning that is proposed by Dr. Alan Wolfelt. In addition, this study uses qualitative research. The result of this study is that Willow is able to heal her grief with the help of Guy. Guy helps her to face her grief openly and stop her date with the razor. Finally, with the help of Guy, Willow can find a way back into life and moving on from the dark shadow of her grief.
