This study concerns with psychology and literature especially the triangular theory of love. This study intends to discuss the love of mother experienced by the main character in the drama. This study focuses the attention, desire and responsibility given by Amanda to her children. The aims of this study are to answer: the intimacyof Amanda, the passionof Amanda, the commitment of Amanda, and the kind of Amanda’s love. This is a qualitative study because the data are the form of words. The writer is the key instrument. There are three processes in the data analysis; reducing data, displaying data and making conclusion. The results of the study are the three components of love in the drama. The intimacy of Amanda is attention, physic closeness and keep the relationship between mother and children. The passion of Amanda is the motivation and desire that belongs the mother to her children. The commitment of Amanda is the responsibility to keep the family relationship. The three components are existed on Amanda’s love, it is called a consummate love.
