Kadar NaCl garam hasil petambak garam rakyat relatif rendah disebabkan oleh beberapa faktor, diantaranya tehnik penanganan pasca panen. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh lama penyimpanan garam rakyat dalam gudang terhadap kadar NaCl. Metode deskriptif analitik digunakan dalam penelitian ini sehingga diperoleh tabel dan grafik untuk mendeskripsikan kadar NaCl. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan ada peningkatan kadar NaCl selama masa penyimpanan, yaitu 89,60% (hari pertama), 90.17% (hari ke-15) dan 91.72% (hari ke-30), sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa lama penyimpanan garam dalam gudang dapat meningkatkan kadar NaCl garam.
AbstractionThe concentration of NaCl salt produced by salt farmers is relatively low due to a several factors, including post-harvest handling techniques. The research aimed to know the effect of salt storage in the warehouse against the concentration of NaCl salt. Descriptive method used in this study and analyzed by tables and graphs to describe the NaCl concentration. The result of this research is increasing NaCl contentration during in the salt storage in warehouse, are 89.60% (1st day), 90.17% (days 15) and 91.72% (days 30), so it could be concluded that the duration in the salt storage in warehouse influence to concentration of NaCl salt.
