ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan di Desa Batioh Kecamatan Banyuates Kabupaten Sampang – Madura. Tujuan dari penelitian untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor yang memotivasi, tipologi dan karakteristik pengunjung di Wana Wisata Hutan Kera Nepa. Metode pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan accidental sampling, sedangkan untuk metode analisis menggunakan Analisis Deskriptif Kuantitatif dan Analisis Chi-Square. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Karakteristik dan tipologi dari pengunjung Wanawisata Hutan Kera Nepa Secara mayoritas, pengunjung Wanawisata Hutan Kera Nepa didominasi oleh kalangan pelajar dengan usia yang masih muda dan belum memiliki pekerjaan dan tidak memiliki pendapatan. Sedangkan tipologi pengunjuk termasuk dalam tipologi Allocentris. Sedangkan berdasarkan metode analisis chi-square faktor-faktor motivasi wisata edukasi, motivasi fisik dan psikis, motivasi fantasi, motivasi budaya dan motivasi sosial dan interpersonal tidak berhubungan dengan frekuensi kunjungan dan pengambilan keputusan responden untuk berkunjung ke hutan nepa tetapi pengunjung termotivasi karena faktor jarak tempuh yang dekat, harga yang terjangkau serta tidak adanya pilihan tempat wisata lain di Kecamatan Banyuates. ABSTRACTION This research was conducted in the Batioh village of the Banyuates sub-district Sampang District - Madura . The purpose of the study to identify the factors that motivate, typology and characteristics of visitors at Monkey Forest tourism Nepa.
