Muhammad Mahdi Masrury, Pengaruh Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Rata-Rata Lama Sekolah Dan Upah Riil Terhadap Penyerapan Buruh Di Provinsi Jawa Timur bawah bimbingan Rifa’i Afin, S.E., MSc dan Ambariyanto, S.E., M.Si. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat seberapa besar pengaruh pertumbuhan ekonomi, rata-rata lama sekolah dan upah riil terhadap penyerapan buruh di Provinsi Jawa Timur pada tahun 2011-2013. Buruh yang kami maksud adalah tenaga kerja di sektor industri pengolahan. Analisa yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data panel dan memakai aplikasi komputer Eviews 6.0 Dari hasil estimasi data panel, model Random Effect Model (REM) adalah yang terbaik daripada Pooled Least Square (PLS) dan Fixed Effect Model (FEM). Dari analisis model tersebut kami menunjukkan bahwa Variabel pertumbuhan ekonomi mempunyai pengaruh yang positif dan signifikan terhadap penyerapan buruh di Kabupaten/Kota pada Provinsi Jawa Timur. Pertumbuhan ekonomi naik sebesar 1%, maka penyerapan buruh naik sebesar 10,01% di Jawa Timur tahun 2011-2013. Sedangkan variabel rata-rata lama sekolah mempunyai pengaruh yang negatif namun tidak signifikan terhadap penyerapan buruh di Jawa Timur 2011-2013, dan variabel upah riil mempunyai pengaruh yang positif namun tidak signifikan terhadap penyerapan buruh di Jawa Timur tahun 2011-2013 Kata Kunci : Pertumbuhan Ekonomi, Rata-rata sekolah, Upah riil, Penyerapan Buruh

Muhammad Mahdi Masrury, Effect of Economic Growth, Average Length of School and Real Wage on Laborers Absorption In East Java Province. Under the guidance of Rifa’i Afin, S.E., MSc and Ambariyanto, S.E., M.Si. The purpose of this study is to know how much influence of the economic growth, the average length of school and real wages on the absorption of labor in East Java province in 2011-2013. The laborers that we mean the workforce in the manufacturing sector. The analysis used a quantitative approach using pooled data and was processed by computer applications Eviews 6.0. From the estimation of pooled data, models Random Effects Model (REM) is the best of the Pooled Least Square (PLS) and the Fixed Effects Model (FEM). From our analysis of the model showed that the variables of economic growth have positive and significant effect on the absorption of labor in the District / City in East Java province . Economic growth rose by 1%, so that the absorption of laborers rose by 10.01% East Java in 2011-2013. Whereas average variable length of school has a negative effect but not significant to the absorption of labor in East Java in 2011-2013, and variable real wages have positive influence, but no significant effect on the absorption of labor in East Java in 2011-2013 Keywords: Economic Growth, length of school, real wages, Laborers Absorption
